After encountering hundreds of women in her practice who struggled to make informed decisions about their health, Dr. Angelica Uwaezuoke became increasingly aware of how much the right information can change a woman’s health journey.
Her conviction became even stronger after watching her mother navigate cervical cancer and survive it. This experience showed her, firsthand, how important access to timely information, appropriate care, and trusted health resources can be.
This inspired her to create Gynopod Care — a virtual platform democratizing access to health literacy and resources for African women through digital technology.
Through Gynopod Care, we educate women about their health, provide pro bono medical consultations, and share trusted resources that help women understand their bodies, navigate health challenges, and make informed health decisions.
